Tuesday night at Zuma -The Japanese restaurant was buzzing with the after work drinks sleek office crowd of trendy DIFC area. Come 7pm and the bar is packed with men and women all smartly dressed looking to have a chill after the busy working day. The ambience and atmosphere always reminded me of being back in London City district there is just this distinct feel to it. The drinks menu is impressive with many signatures cocktails to try and their Passion fruit Martini is to die for and arguably one of the best in town. The bar extensive menu is difficult to choose from as you want to try everything; I would especially recommend the black cod and chicken teriyaki skewers they were gorgeous. The crowd is mainly a mix of 30’s something, smartly dressed European’s, with the main trend being office to happy hour look and more red stiletto’s soles lining the bar counter than I have seen anywhere else, a smart pencil dress or a power suit look would defiantly work well here. Being an iconic and trendy hang out spot in Dubai, Zuma is on a pricey side but defiantly worth a visit.
