Mimi Kakushi named ‘best restaurant in Dubai’

Mimi Kakushi, Dubai’s immersive 1920s Osaka inspired bar and restaurant, bags three accolades at the privileged Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2022, that took place on 10 March 2022. The venue was named ‘best restaurant in Dubai’, and won the ‘best a la carte brunch’, as well as was listed as a highly recommended destination for Japanese dining.

Spearheaded by Chef Vladimir Kim and Chef Gilles Bosquet, Mimi Kakushi serves up a myriad of contemporary Japanese creations that bring together authentic flavour with a playful and modern twist. Refined recipes and techniques blend traditional Asian ingredients and fresh seafood to reveal a stellar menu that combines the taste of the East with the rhythm of the West.

Merging art and western fashion and street-life of Japan, the venue offers a multi-sensory experience with its sophisticated and vibrant atmosphere. Interiors designed by acclaimed London-based design studio, Pirajean Lees pays homage to the modernist Mavo movement celebrating the radical and avant-garde.
